ü  Academic Integrity: Assignments, projects and exams are expected to be the effort of the student submitting the work.

ü  Attendance Policy: When you miss class, you miss important information. If you are absent, you are responsible for learning material covered in class, use the website for information. Class absences will affect your class participation grade.

If you are absent when an assignment is due, you still have to submit the assignment on the due date. Quizzes, homework, and participation points cannot be made up except in the case of extremes.

ü  Expectations for Classroom Behaviour: All cell phones are to be put away out of view during class; there is no text messaging. There will be no eating during class time. Please be respectful of each other and the instructor. We are all here to learn!

ü  Assignment Submission: Assignments are always due before class starts on the day noted. All assignments must be sent through the course inbox. Assignments are due at times specified by the instructor. Late assignments will be accepted only in cases of emergency. No makeup exams will be allowed only with pre-approval of the instructor or with an acceptable, documented reason. For Final exams, students who are absent from any final examination will be given the grade of F. Please, check your grades regularly in Powerschool.

ü  Expectations of the Instructor: The instructor is expected to facilitate learning, to answer questions appropriately, to be fair and objective in grading, to provide timely and useful feedback on assignments, to maintain adequate office hours, and to treat students respectfully.

ü            Amending the Rules: Changes to class policies are possible. The instructor or the class can forward changes to the presented plan. The entire class and instructor must vote any change on with a unanimous vote.
